This immersive 9-day journey is designed to show you the full beauty of Morocco’s south. Travel from the Red City through arid canyons, kasbahs, and golden dunes—sleeping under stars, riding camels, and connecting with Berber culture. An unforgettable adventure full of landscapes, colors, and local life.
🗓️ Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Pickup and transfer to your riad. Free evening in the medina.
🗓️ Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Drive through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, explore Ait Ben Haddou, overnight in Ouarzazate.
🗓️ Day 3: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges
Discover kasbahs and palm groves, then head into the Dades canyon. Overnight in a kasbah lodge.
🗓️ Day 4: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Walk through Todra’s gorge, then continue to the Sahara. Camel ride at sunset. Overnight in desert camp.
🗓️ Day 5: Merzouga – Nomadic Life – Khamlia Village – Desert Discovery
Visit nomadic families, enjoy traditional Gnawa music in Khamlia. Explore the desert by 4×4 or quad (optional). Second night in Merzouga or nearby.
🗓️ Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes (option)
Leave the desert through the Ziz Valley and cedar forests toward Fes (optional extension).
Or return westward and overnight near Ouarzazate.
🗓️ Day 7: Ouarzazate – Anti-Atlas – Agdz – Draa Valley
Head south through volcanic landscapes and the lush Draa Valley. Overnight in a kasbah near Agdz or Nkob.
📅 Itinerary Summary
🗓️ Day 8: Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech via scenic routes. Free time in the evening.
🗓️ Day 9: Marrakech Departure
Optional guided visit of the medina or airport transfer.
